Introduction
Hey everyone, Jason here.
Today I have the opportunity to share with you a preview for the new judgement model: The Dwarf King Asbrand as well as some behind the scenes work in progress box art.
I've been painting this guy on and off for the last week, and just wanted to share with people the thoughts I had while painting the model as well as showcase some of the cool features of it.

This fiery short king comes as a sculpt that captures the iconic fantasy dwarf in Creature Caster's detailed cast features and new resin. There was essentially no clean up which is pretty awesome for resin pieces, though I do have the luxury of probably the first cast from a new mold.
Dwarfy Detail

As with any self respecting dwarf, the beard is a feature of important. Asbrand's kingly beard does not disappoint, and there was some love given to make sure it gets the magnificence it deserves.

Kingly armour needs to be blinged out doesn't it? Red in honour of Bruelin, and shiny metal as any king that leads the charge needs.
The scale mail here is really detailed and was fun to paint.
Hope you enjoy the sneak peak at the work behind some of the new box art coming to Creature Caster and Judgement: Eternal Champions!
I hope to do more of these in the near future - let me know what else you've like to see from these behind the scene updates.
Also, this is the concept art of the dwarf king - maybe more than just your average model? To be seen...
